Our company was deeply involved in the design of the outer packaging for a Chanel cream. This box pursues ultimate simplicity. We repeatedly experimented with specialty papers of varying thicknesses, ultimately selecting a paper that offers both crispness and a natural texture, with subtle fiber lines visible to the touch.
During the printing process, the box's exterior was painted in a single, understated hue, devoid of complex patterns. To achieve the perfect texture for the brand logo, we fine-tuned the hot stamping process's temperature and pressure dozens of times, ensuring that the logo's delicate outlines remained clear and discreet under light without appearing too glaring.
The lid's opening and closing angles were meticulously designed, ensuring a seamless fit when closed and a stable angle when opened. This was achieved through meticulous structural mechanics, with careful adjustments to the depth and position of the creases, resulting in this simple yet practical effect.
